Still in a Nook

Yup yup. So my very pokable hamster Ah Bui has died of old age two days ago. I was quite prepared for it already since he was getting thinner by the day…

I wasn’t really sure how settle his ‘funeral’; was worried that the cats or dogs at my block would dig out the soil if I buried him. So anyway he had a traditional Chinese cremation (I just placed him in the joss sticks bin downstairs) x)

I think he’s so considerate! He chose to die in his bathing box which I could handle and remove easily. Heehee. When my father took it out of the cage to put the box (with Ah Bui in it) in a plastic bag, I told him not to shake the hamster out… and he said, “好啦好啦，要不要绑一个leh-bin(ribbon lol)? 需要画一个符吗?” Haha he’s so irritating 8)

And then my mum said Ah Bui must have chosen to hang on until the 15 days of Chinese new year…and then my dad said he and Lydia Sum can walk their last journey together. -_-
