Still in a Nook

This gigantic dragonfly was creating havoc in my house yesterday night. My father was gushing over how beautiful it looked with its shimmering body etc etc but I was DAMN SCARED LAH. I mean they look nice and dainty when hovering over ponds at the NYP campus but this goddamn dragonfly was hitting the lamp with its wings every few seconds… with the same effect as cockroaches’ wings hitting the walls… :s

Then my father said when he was a kid, he would catch dragonflies with his siblings and tie a thread to their tails and let them fly around. Like flying a kite. Ewwww imagine holding the insect’s body between your fingers… blearrghh…
