Back from popular demand

We’re back at Powerhouse!!!!!! :D

The interior of the club has changed… wall deco theme has been changed to pop art style, additional platforms for the ‘hot’ dancing chicks (which means less space for us!! Rah) … I can’t really lay my finger on whether the crowd is different from last time or not but… yeah. It was good being back at the same old place instead of Zouk bleah or MOS bleah or Dbl O (will slowly grow into it ^_^).

Story of the day: We were absolutely appalled at one girl who was a promoter for tequila shots. Usually they go away when you say no thanks, but that girl! She looked like she was drunk herself and kept clinging onto Don. Poor big fat Don. Hahaha he had to stuff her $10 to make her go away.

These few weeks have been quite happening for me! My company just launched an online magazine and there was a shitload of coding to do lah! I had almost felt myself fuse into my office chair. MY OFFICE CHAIR! Did I mention how much I love my new office chair? My office chair! It is striped and it has a headrest!

Now for a series of flashbacks…

Met up with Alvin the week before.

Alvin became an uncle after joining the army… Look carefully! He was drinking warm water from a teapot!!!

Aha actually he was sick that day. Tekong virus, he called it.

We went to Bugis, and later on he treated me to dinner at Indulgz, the bistro that Xiaxue advertised. I was there twice… and the food was okayyy. Not really as yummy-sounding as advertised. Hehe. But still very fulfilling for the stomach!

The following day, a day of walking around aimlessly and then Chinese New Year style steamboat dinner with Amanda, Cheryl, KC and her boyfriend Jason… at a restaurant few doors down Indulgz. That was how I spent my weekend, eating at Bugis.

Almost mastered the art of getting both people in the photo!

No nasty spicy marinated shit like Marina South restaurants

Ok the funny thing is that I just had a steamboat dinner two days before that dinner, with my colleagues!! Two steamboat dinners in one week…Abit too sinful already.

Hehe I shall post a video of the dinner at my office!

Looks fabulous, in my opinion. Luncheon meat is surprisingly delicious on a teppanyaki!!

Now back to dinner as Bugis… As if 15 pounds of beef, chicken, fish and mushrooms weren’t enough, we headed to McDonald’s for ice cream. Whose smart idea was it huh!!!

All acting innocent…
