I’ve always wanted to print out my collection of photos taken with friends over the years, but always found it a bother to go down to the photo printing shop. I checked out Fujifilm’s online printing service, but $0.50 per photo (with $5 handling fee) isn’t really a reasonable deal.
Then after some searching I found out that Snapfish.com already has a Singapore headquarters! I don’t know from how long ago la, but the last time I checked out Snapfish was about four years ago?
Anyway. They offer very affordable photo printing rates for camwhores like me. You only pay $0.19 per 4 x 6 photo! And just by signing up, you already get 20 prints free.
To demonstrate how value-for-money this service is… let’s compare (compare-ah! Sorry couldn’t help) prices with a case study: mine.
I wanted to print 88 photos. If I used Fujifilm’s service, it would be $49, including the $5 handling fee. Postage is free on their side.
But with Snapfish, it was only $16.72 for the photos. Already reasonable enough right? But they went a step further and waived the fees for the first 20 prints, so the total cost was down to $12.92. They charge a postage fee of $1.90 for the first 55 photos (and less), and $1 thereafter.
So the grand total came up to an absurd amount (amao! ><) of ......
$15.82.
