Ah Ma’s birthday

I went to my paternal grandma’s birthday celebration at a government chalet in Changi. Had a hard time finding that place but it was worth it… lol
This is how the second floor looks like:
Already the size of my house
Each room has three beds. Sigh. It would be paradise for all of us friends who always have to squeeze together in one bed.
But just FYI, I slept in a tent! Pitched in the room nonetheless lollll cos the beds were taken up by the young kids :)
We had a barbecue outside the house. I love family barbecues like this, why? Cos I don’t have to peng the food!! The adult-adults prepare the best-tasting food ever man. Yummy!

Yep they were toasting marshmallows. I managed to toast super nice marshmallows that day! Lightly browned on the outside, warm and mushy on the inside. What a fluke xD
I am imagining them talking about current affairs like the season finale of My Little Pony and how the latest mock paper by Henry Park Primary was a killer.

My cousin Tess, who is just one rank below me according to age. Next would be her sister(in the previous photo) who’s like a few minutes younger than her but never mind. She’s erm… fourteen. Hahahazzz I used to carry her around when she was young and placed objects on high places that she couldn’t reach. (the irony)

If you weighed all my 20 birthday cakes that I have had and added them up, it would be around this cake’s weight. Ok la kua zhang but it was so enormous lah!!!

Ok this is my ah ma with her crown (and cape yet to be added). It’s like a running joke in my family where the birthday person is forced to wear this pink and fluffy accessory, and yesterday was my ah ma’s turn.
Haha I guess I would be the odd one out in another person’s camera xD

Nut: I don’t know! But I think it was damn ex… I think you need to be a member of something to book the chalet… My uncle booked it thru some connections with MOE I think…
