Hideous

Was the word that kept popping up in my head when I went shopping in Taipei last week. I don’t know what’s up with the current trend of clashing colours (fluorescent pink graphics on a green tee etc) and gold chains hanging off apparels… okok I get it, hip-hop culture and stuff…it was a shame that I couldn’t put down my dignity to buy all those just because they were cheap. Sigh. I have dignity.
