A real hobby

I am actually quite embarrassed to tell people that I like computers and programming. And I like guys who ramble on and on about tech-related stuff with a passion. I think it’s so cute :D
Of course my skills aren’t quite there, but I am really hopelessly addicted. HELP *aaackkk*
Now there is this problem that is bugging me. I graduated with a diploma in digital media design, so in order to go to university with advanced standing, I’ll have to continue in the same field, which is design or interactive media.
But that’s something I am totally not into right now, because halfway during my course I found out that my interest was in programming and making things work, instead of conceptualising, editing, colour theory and the rest of the shit that came with the package.
However if I were to pursue a degree in computer science or IT development, I’ll have to start from scratch with a three-year program. By the time I graduate, I’ll be…24? That’s old. Sigh.

it’s never too old! some people take the longer route, some take the shorter route. It’s perhaps a matter of luck? What is most important is you sort out your mind, clear your doubts, be sure of what you really want and go for it!
