Traumatised for life

After my dental checkup I was given antibiotics, painkillers and a mouth rinse solution which I am expected to faithfully complete the whole course of medication.

(1) The antibiotic tablets are bitter and dissolve very quickly.
Gag rating: 4/5

(2) I’ve not taken the painkillers yet cos the pain (wound from the injection) is bearable.

(3) The mouth rinse is the weirdest of all. It is in shocking green, the kind of coloured solution you will find in the toiletries (toilet bowl cleaner) section in the supermarket or among the Fabuloso series. It doesn’t give me the ’safe’ feeling like Listerine would. Anyway the taste is okay, as I have managed to manoeuvre my tongue in a way that poisonous green chemical and taste organ does not meet. A slight prickly sensation in the cheeks, but otherwise survivable.
Gag rating: 4.5/5

This morning I woke up with a mouth full of blood that accumulated overnight, and somehow the blood had thickened. I had blood-gel on my bottom teeth. It creeped me out. Am I supposed to bleed for so long??

Now there is this nagging fear that when I go to school tomorrow and talk to my friends casually, they will be looking at me in a weird manner and I won’t know why until when I go to the restroom and give a big smile to the mirror to find my teeth dyed red.
