For a very lucky taxi driver this morning.
Ever gave yourself a big shock by jolting awake from sleep and thinking that you were horribly late for some appointment? Your eyes just fly open and you lie still, trying to remember what day of the week it is… and then you feel a huge sense of relief because it’s Sunday and you don’t have to go to school.
Unfortunately the second part didn’t happen! It was 8.24am and I was horrendously late for my driving lesson which started at 8am. Each practical lesson costs $60 so by waking up late I had already wasted about $20.
After some scrambling and running I ended up waiting for cabs which didn’t come at the road downstairs. Finally I managed to book a cab and was given a lecture for bringing only $10 by the taxi driver. I had to run back upstairs and grab more money.
The fare was already $8.50 when I got into the car. Haha!
Booking fee: $4
Starting fare: $2.50

Inside the car I was anxious. Would I be able to start my lesson more than half an hour late? I didn’t want my $60 to go to waste.
Well………….
Turned out that there was no booking today. My lesson is tomorrow at 8am.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Hope my charity of $10.40 made a difference to the taxi uncle.
Oh and I found out something too.
It’s time to train my stamina for NAPFA.
